Terms of use
Konic Labs terms of use — rules governing this website and how site information relates to our production AI and software engineering services.
Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Konic Labs public website. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
These Terms apply to the website and publicly available information. They do not by themselves create a customer engagement, statement of work, or paid services contract.
Website usage
You may use this site for lawful, professional purposes — for example to learn about Konic Labs and to contact us about production AI workloads. You agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt, probe, or compromise the site or related systems
- Use automated means to scrape or overload the site in a way that harms availability
- Submit unlawful, misleading, or abusive content through forms or email
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
We may suspend or restrict access if we believe use violates these Terms or threatens the site.
Intellectual property
Site content — including text, branding, logos, layout, and graphics — is owned by Konic Labs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the site for commercial purposes without our prior written permission, except for limited fair-use quotations with attribution or as otherwise allowed by law.
Konic Labs names and marks may not be used in a way that implies endorsement without permission.
Services
Konic Labs provides model engineering and production deployment services for compact, task-specific language models. Descriptions on this website are general information about our approach and capabilities.
Website content is not a binding offer, guarantee of results, pricing commitment, or warranty. Actual services are defined only in a separate written agreement between Konic Labs and a customer.
Quotes and proposals
Any quote, proposal, estimate, timeline, or scope discussion — whether emailed, discussed verbally, or shared after a website inquiry — is informational until incorporated into a signed agreement. We may revise or withdraw proposals before acceptance. Pricing and deliverables depend on the workload, evaluation criteria, and deployment constraints of each engagement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Konic Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content.
The website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Third-party services
The site may link to third-party websites or rely on third-party infrastructure (such as hosting). We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.
Governing law
These Terms are intended to be read under the laws applicable to Konic Labs’ business operations. A specific governing-law and venue clause for website disputes has not been fixed on this page; if a dispute arises, the parties will work in good faith to resolve it, and mandatory consumer or local protections continue to apply where required by law. Customer engagements will state governing law in their contracts.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date on this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
